As an educator in technical writing and reporting, M Tadeja advocates practical communication skills that students, organizations, and communities can directly apply in real-world contexts — from proposal writing and documentation to organizational communication and project presentation. M Tadeja believes communication is not merely academic or theoretical, but a practical tool for building opportunities, strengthening organizations, mobilizing communities, and creating meaningful social and environmental impact.
 - Margaret Ragual Tadeja started professional writing in 1991 as Philippine Daily Inquirer correspondent. She has since written for various local and international clients: from feature, short, straight news stories, to fiction, and non-fiction books. She also maintains a blog about recycling crafts and the environment.

Her interest for the environment was inherited from her family: her uncle the late Abraham Abe Tadeja pioneered organic farming through commercialization of the multi-awarded Farmers Product Organic Fertilizer in the 1980s.

Her profession in environment started through her writing in 2005: majority of her international clients required information and reports about environment, sustainability, life cycles, even equity among other related topics. So, she enrolled at the University of the Philippines Open University for master of environment and natural resources management. At this time, she already was actively involved with Bituen Eco-Volunteers in two programs: Reading Caravan free books distribution to marginalized children, and 3Rs & Sustainability -  free #wastegardening workshop in schools and communities, and fruit tree planting activities.

Margaret today is currently teaching environment science courses at Mariano Marcos State University and has joined a team of environmental impact assessment reviewers and preparers as authorized by the Environmental Management Bureau

Margaret finished her elementary education at
St. Paul College of Ilocos Sur,
her secondary education at Judge Juan Luna High School in Quezon City,
AB-Journalism at the University of Santo Tomas,
and currently pursuing her Doctor in Sustainability at the University of the Philippines Open University.
She was co-founder and organizer of  Bituen Eco Volunteers (2009).
